Its name acting as an amalgamation of the genres it represents, Gigamov was established with the modern-day pop culture fan in mind.

The site explores in-depth reviews, exclusive interviews with creative artists, and up-to-date news in all things music, film, television, gaming, podcasts, books and popular culture products.

Gigamov encourages creativity and offers its contributors the chance to write for a site that is diverse in its content, reaches a wide demographic of visitors across Australia and the U.K., and allows each writer to build their own professional portfolio of published works.

 

Gigamov was founded by Belinda Pearce, who recruited over forty passionate pop culture writers across Australia and the U.K. before the site's launch in January 2017.

 

The site underwent several content and development changes before its launch, with thanks to the writers, editors and development team who continued to share their dynamic ideas, leading to the site's diverse breadth of work.
